The Art and Whimsy of Mo Willems is an exhibit held at the New-York Historical Society Museum.
Beloved children’s book author Mo Willems has captured hearts big and small with his titles like Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! and Knuffle Bunny and many more.
The exhibition shows writer/author’s works, featuring original drawings, artwork and sketches from his most popular series. It was featured by major media such as The New York Times
I participated as an environmental graphic designer for the exhibition and pop-up store.
I layouted wall graphics based on the author’s work and designed art labels according to the concept devised by the art director and exhibition designer, as well as in communicating with printing vendors and monitoring installation work.
The focus was on adjusting details such as scale to create a sensation for visitors as if they had entered a world from his books.
